Bhopal, July 9: Underlining the importance of Seva in every individual’s life Rashtriya Swayasevak Sangh Sarkaryvah Bhaiyaji Joshi said that the spirit of service is instilled in our ancient culture where we consider that service to humanity is equal to service of God.
Speaking at the website launch of Seva Vibag, Joshi stated that Seva is not something which could be calculated, it is indeed intangible. The individual can only experience the same with genuine efforts which bring immense satisfaction. He further added that service for the nation is the matter of conviction where honest sympathy touches the soul of an individual without any inducement.
Expressing his concern over the current social order Bhaiyaji articulated that large section of society is still away from their social rights. They are facing a serious problem of livelihood, so as a sensitive citizen of the country, we need to work hard in order to alleviate their problems. “Needy persons must be served with a feeling of brotherhood after understanding their anguish and weakness. Service done with such feelings always bear good results,” said Bhaiyaji.
Expressing his views about the marketing of service by some section of the Society for the sake of publicity and other stuff, Bhiyaji asserted that while dealing with our family members we do not employ propaganda tactics because we consider it as our duty, so we should refrain ourself from publicity while engaging in any seva karya.
Advocating the need for confidence building and feeling of self-reliance among deprived section, Bhaiyaji Joshi said that we have to work relentlessly for the upliftment of every individual so as to improve the quality of living. Mere fulfillment of minimum requirements will not serve the purpose.
Sewa Gatha stories shall inspire new generation
Commenting on the digital venture of Seva Vibhag, Sarkaryvah underlined that to inform, to educate and to entertain are the basic virtues of storytelling. He also reiterated that the inspiring tales from this platform will definitely encourage the future generation for Seva.
